At the end of 2023, the last toroidal field coil (TFC) envisioned by the project was delivered to ITER construction site in Cadarache, France. C.M.C. Sud contributed, through its customers in Italy and France, to the PAUT inspection of the radial plates and cover plates that make up the superconducting winding pack, and to the inspection of the welds made at the end of theinsertion of the coil into the casing.
