C.M.C. Sud Today is a well-established company in the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) sector, and a recognized international reference point for reliability and competence.
Our company provides a full range of services to the industry:
- Conventional, Phased Array, TOFD and FMC ultrasonic testing;
- Radiographic and gammagraphic testing, magnetic particle and liquid penetrant testing;
- Welding inspection, visual and dimensional testing;
- On-site hardness testing, alloy identification and localized heat treatments.
Conventional, Phased Array, TOFD and FMC ultrasonic testing are one of our "flagships", thanks to our experience and our cutting edge equipment.
We carry out tests on welded pipes and structures, pressure vessels, forged or cast components and other metal or composite material products. Furthermore, thanks to the high specialization of our operators, we provide consultancy as certified level 3 technicians.
We operate both in small manufacturing industries and in large industrial plants and high-tech projects, such as the ITER nuclear fusion plant. The main areas of intervention are in the nuclear sector, both fusion and fission, thermoelectric and hydroelectric power generation, shipbuilding, the petrochemical sector and in large industrial plants, in particular paper mills.
As of today, we have around 50 employees, who work in our operational units in Genoa, Massa, Udine and Schio in a young, dynamic environment that is attentive to the training and professional growth of each member of its staff. Our technicians are present daily throughout the national territory, and frequently travel to Europe and the rest of the world, wherever our clients' sites are located.
Our present goal is to support our customers through all technical and regulatory requirements, ensuring the integrity and reliability of the inspected components and minimizing the risk of damage to structures, people and the environment.
We work every day to improve our services, through the continuous training of our technicians, the attention to new technologies, automation and innovative inspection methods.
